What materials can be cut with a fiber laser cutter?    

1. Carbon steel.  When a fiber laser cutter uses oxygen as the processing gas, the cutting edge is slightly oxidized.  When the thickness is up to 4mm, nitrogen can be used as a machining gas for high pressure cutting.  In this case, the tip will not be oxidized.  When the thickness of the steel plate is greater than 10 mm, the special plate can be used for laser processing of the steel plate laser cutting machine, and the workpiece surface can be oiled in the processing process to achieve better results.  

2. Copper and brass.  Both materials have high reflectivity and good thermal conductivity.  Brass less than 1mm thick can be cut with nitrogen, copper less than 2mm thick can be cut with oxygen.  Copper and brass can only be cut if a "reflection absorption" device is installed on the system.  Otherwise the reflection will destroy the optical element.  

Stainless steel is the most widely used in all industries.  When cutting stainless steel with optical fiber laser cutting machine nitrogen in the case of no oxidation to obtain edge, in the case of not affected by edge oxidation to obtain burr.  By coating oil film on the surface of steel plate, better perforating effect can be obtained without reducing machining quality.  

4. Aluminum.  On fiber laser cutting machines, aluminum with a thickness of less than 6mm can be cut, despite having high reflectivity and thermal conductivity, depending on the alloy type and laser capacity.  In oxygen cutting, the cutting surface is rough and hard.  The cutting surface is smooth when nitrogen is applied.  Pure aluminum is difficult to cut because of its high purity.  Cutting can only be done when a "reflection absorption" device is installed on the fiber laser cutting machine system.  Otherwise the reflection will destroy the optical element.

Package and delivery the fiber laser cutting machine
