1.Carbon steel: Carbon steel is a type of steel with a low carbon content, usually up to about 2.1%. It is one of the most commonly used steels due to its suitability for a variety of applications. In addition, mild steel is not expensive to obtain and it has properties such as high impact strength, weldability and ductility.

2.Stainless steel: Stainless steel is an iron alloy that is both corrosion and rust resistant. Plasma cutting is one of the most efficient methods of fabricating this metal as it allows for cutting thicknesses of up to 30 millimeters. Grades of stainless steel suitable for cutting include: 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 310S, 317 and more.

3.Brass: Brass is another metal that is easily fabricated using plasma cutting. This is due to its high electrical conductivity. However, when manufacturing brass using this method, it is best to do so in a well-ventilated area.
